Book
Native People of Wisconsin
Wisconsin's Native nations for fourth-grade readers
Patty's 4th-grade social studies textbook, used by approximately 25,000 Wisconsin schoolchildren each year. Same eight-chapter spine as 'Indian Nations of Wisconsin' but pitched at 4th-grade readers, with vocabulary callouts, 'Think About It' intro questions, 'Remembering' section outros, and a 'Native People Up Close' chapter profiling contemporary Native kids. She has called this her proudest work.
